Environmental Innovation

Adnams introduced Innovation in 2007 to celebrate the completion of their innovative energy efficient brewery. In the name of reducing its impact on the environment and the monthly heating bill, a heat condenser was added to the mix which recovers steam previously let loose into the atmosphere. The captured heat is now sent back and used to produce this Innovation, among others. This brew immediatly won first and gold in 2008 at the World Beer Awards and British Bottlers Institue respectively which secured its status as a year round from a limited edition. It is now hopped with a blend of English, Slovenian and American hops which balance that sweet barley and contribute to the tropical notes. Stay tuned as we eagerly await our embossed labeled sample from across the pond..
