To Hop or Knot to Hop
With a recent 2012 World Beer Cup Gold under its belt, we will show the Hop Knot respect despite not yet having the pleasure of tasting one due to geographical distribution logistics.
We are pleased to report both American hops and malt are used to produce this, you guessed it, American-style IPA. Check out the trippy (in a good way) website of Four Peaks Brewing Company which does a fine job of information flow with specific food and cheese pairings.
The Hop Knot is a relatively low IBU India Pale Ale, clocking a mere 47. We look forward to trying this and potentially adding it to our, "Trick your friend who doesn't think they like IPA," if it is indeed delicately balanced.
Since most local bars and resturants serve up the hometown India Pale Ale on the menu, you will likely spot the knot throughout Arizona and neighboring states.
Yes you can find this in this can.
The word on the street is that you will find similar taste, bitterness and the like in Ranger and Union Jack IPA's.
