The Goose is loose

The Goose Island Beer Company opened in 1988 as one of Chicago's first microbreweries. Today the company maintians a production brewery along with not one but two brewpubs to keep things flowing. It is safe to say the Commander in Chief himself has had the brewery on his radar for quite some time as it is in his old stomping ground.

The Goose Island IPA is a prime example of an urban Midwest American take of the English style IPA brewed entirely with pale malt and hopped with both English and American hops. A consistent crowd pleaser and award winner and offered by the gallon, that's right we said gallon.
