Hop-less IPA?!

A hopless IPA seems hopeless to us, but then again we haven't tried one yet. We actually haven't heard of one yet. On its face this seems impossible, but we are here to report two heavy hitting dogs in the brewing world Flying Dog and BrewDog are going head to head on quite a brew off. Enter the International Arms Race Zero IBU IPA, a 'combative collaboration' where the stake are high and the IBU is as low as it gets, zero. The sanctioned ingredients are bay leaves, spearmint, rosemary, juniper berries, and elderflower. The master brewers will attempt to replicate the bitterness with some magical formulation and technique containing only those flavorings. The results will be available for the average Joe to drink and discuss the success or failure in early summer.
